Exciting Finish in North Bend
Posted by Tom on Sep 10 at 09:29 AM
A great finish to our first softball game of the season in North Bend as the Tigers led Tekamah Herman 7-1 after 5 innings, but Tekamah Herman scored four runs in the 6th & three runs in the top of the 7th to tie the game at 8-8.  In the bottom of the 7th North Bend Central had runners at first & second with 2 outs when freshman Desirae Sindelar stepped to the plate.
Nathan Arneal of the North Bend Eagle caught the call of the winning hit.
Final score: North Bend Central 9 & Tekamah Herman 8.

Something Every Woman Must See
Posted by Tom on Jun 15 at 09:28 AM

This video email was sent to me by my sister in-law that lives in Wichita. She lost her sister Dana to this dreadful form of breast cancer that many women or even the medical field don't know a lot about, (She was diagnosed in December and by June she passed away) so take a few minutes and watch this video, it may save your life or the life of a loved one.

Bio
I have lived in West Point for the past 45 years after moving here from Omaha in 1964. I graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1973, and married my high school sweetheart Karen in April of 1975. We have two daughters, Stacey and her husband Phil, and two grandson’s, 3 year old McCoy and 6 month old Lincoln. My youngest daughter works as a surgical nurse and is currently single, but has a very close friend in Ryan along with a four-legged little girl (dog – 6 years old) Annie, that is just like another grandchild. I started working for KTIC back in the 80’s part time as a sports announcer and board shift operator. I have been the Sports Director since 1997 here at KTIC, covering 13 schools in local sports broadcasts and currently doing the “Bull Morning Show” from 6am – 10am with the one and only Kris St. James. I am a Virgo, favorite colors are red and blue, I’m a Red Sox fanatic, favorite shows are any CSI, NCIS, The Unit and SportsCenter. Hobbies include visiting family, sports memorabilia and golf.
