A really long way

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ The quick pace of Jason Michael Carroll's music career could make more than a couple of artists in Nashville jealous. He's been in the business for a little more than a year and has already had two Top 5 singles and is talking about a second album. He says of course he would love to be headlining arenas and amphitheaters, but taking everything into consideration, he says he's already come ``a really long way.'' Carroll says the ideas for his songs hit him in weird places. Like being at an airport and listening to someone talk on a cell phone while he's waiting at the gate. He says he's also gotten inspiration from watching TV and hearing someone utter a few words from a movie. Carroll is on tour all summer.
