Rascal Flatts, which spent 10 years at Disney's Lyric Street Records, is joining Big Machine Records. The group's first album for the label, Nothing Like This, will be out Nov. 16. The first single from the album, "Why Wait," is out today (July 29).

Big Machine is also home to Taylor Swift, Jack Ingram, Steel Magnolia and Jaron and the Long Road to Love.

The announcement was made at a press conference today at Nashville's Pinnacle Building. “We didn’t choose the Pinnacle building by accident,” Scott Borchetta, President/CEO of Big Machine, said. “They define the pinnacle of success over the last 10 years.”

Joe Don Rooney told reporters during the press conference, "The last ten years have been great and we want to tip our hats to Lyric Street. We feel blessed to be with Big Machine. We want to make great music and not stop. We feel like it's a breath of fresh air, and a new day."

Ever the jokesters, Gary LeVox quipped, "I'm just thrilled that Taylor [Swift] let us on the label." Growing serious, he added, "The whole [Big Machine] team kicks butt and we want to be on the A-team."
